The vintage Davis Coronet wood racket is in excellent condition and is a 4 1/2 Medium(decal still in tact) strung with nylon string. My guess is factory strung and has the telltale sign of that by the fishing line trim for decoration at the tip and shoulder of the head. We would use the string trim to call "rough" or "smooth" when spinning for serve. The head is not warped so far as I can tell. The tip doesn't have wear patterns for a wood racket. My guess is it was only used a few times before giving up tennis or trading it in for a Prince Pro or a graphite racket. The trim around the head is still in great condition. The leather grip has hardly been used and it says right on the butt end, "TAD." The Davis decal on one side of the shaft is intact, but the Tad decal on the other side is scratched a little. And a racket brace to prevent warping is included.
